SARAH DiSALVATORE, MPH
I am a clinical operations executive and fractional consultant with 30 years of experience in research and development, specializing in building clinical departments for startup organizations. My career is distinguished by bench research experience, including multiple scientific publications, which provides me with a deep, scientific foundation for overseeing clinical trials from Phase I through NDA/BLA filings. I bring deep expertise in CRO oversight, quality management systems, and strategic infrastructure development to help organizations bring life-changing therapies to patients faster and in full compliance with global regulations.
By bridging regulatory and clinical functions, I foster seamless communication across teams. This approach is especially valuable for clients with lean or virtual structures, where alignment and clarity are essential to maintaining quality and momentum.
I have held senior leadership roles at Ascidian Therapeutics, AGTC, Rocket Pharma, Stemline Therapeutics, Helsinn, Roche, and ImClone Systems, with expertise spanning rare diseases, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, and infectious diseases. My experience spans gene therapies, biologics, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and small molecules in both adult and pediatric populations worldwide.
As a Rare Parent and Board Member of the DDX3X Foundation- https://ddx3x.org - I combine my professional expertise with a personal commitment to advancing research for rare diseases. I hold an MPH in Epidemiology from New York Medical College and a B.A. in Biology from Salisbury University.
